Cancellation Policy

Why do we have a cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy acknowledges the time our clinicians have dedicated to your child and the effort they've invested in preparing for your session. It also recognises the constraints of our waitlist system, highlighting that unlike doctors we cannot readily fill cancelled slots due to the unique nature of our services.

What is our cancellation policy?

  • Sessions cancelled by you will still be charged at the full consultation fee.

  • When sessions are cancelled by us due to staff illnesses or leave or public holidays, we will make every attempt to reschedule the session or you will not be charged.

  • Should you miss three scheduled appointments within a 12-week timeframe, we may need to temporarily suspend therapy services. Your child can return to therapy but you may be placed on a waiting list if the clinician does not have any immediate openings.

  • If your child is unable to attend their session, we kindly request that you promptly inform us. You can do so by calling the centre (Newmarket - 09 281 4857 or North Shore - 09 280 4303) or directly emailing your clinician or lead therapist.
